Color story: A fen is a low, lush, waterlogged landscape — ancient, layered, full of quiet life. That's exactly the feeling this glaze carries. Fen is the darkest of our three studio greens, an olive that deepens toward forest in shadow and opens to a rich, complex tone in direct light. It has the presence of a statement color without the restlessness of one.

Use Fen where you want a space to feel grounded and considered. A kitchen island surround. A fireplace floor-to-ceiling. A shower with unlacquered brass fixtures and warm limestone floor tile. Fen is the tile you choose when you want something that will still feel right in twenty years.

It pairs beautifully with Millcreek for a tonal dark-to-medium installation, and holds its own against raw concrete, warm oak, and aged brass.

Variation note: Gloss finish. Low-to-moderate variation — the dark, saturated glaze fires with a consistent depth, with subtle shifts in tone that reveal themselves up close.
